To my fb friends who is following the on-going Liwat II case. One vital legal standpoint, is that... No court of law shall convict a man and punish him if his case is not proven BRD ( beyond reasonable doubt) in accordance with the Law and established as well as acceptable legal tenets of our beloved Nation comprising of relevant principles procedures & practice.Like the common law countries such as England & Wales,Australia,Canada,Singapore,South Africa NZ and many others the Law presumes a man is innocent until he is proven guity BRD.That is why our courts are so accomodative to allow arguments from both sides of the action, in order to exhaust all possible & reasonable but relevant facts & views before they embark upon deliberating on the issue of guilt & the innocence of the Accused. We do not want to see Anwar Ibrahim being convicted & punished if his case is not proven BRD in accordance with the legal standpoint I have adumberated above.I hope we can peacefully meet and agree on this point !
