To my fellow Asarco employees: I realize that every one of us are concerned and hoping for a fair contract. But I have to share my heart with you. Nothing in this life is what we like to call fair. When the Creator of this entire universe came to this earth in human flesh and hung up on that cross it wasnt fair. The most unfair part about it was that Jesus did that for US. He without sin came and suffered the most brutal death so that He could make an offer to US for a relationship even though He already knew most of mankind would ignore His offer. This job like everything else is temporary. But I cannot stress to yall the importance of eternity. Most prepare for retirement but never give much thought to eternity. Thats sad. You all know my dad John spent over 30 years at this plant and never saw retirement. But his focus was on eternity with Jesus Christ. I plead with yall to get your focus right before your TIME comes. I want everyone on this plant to get these books that will answer every question you may have about eternity. They are called One Heartbeat Away and they are free!
