To my friends As you know, I live and work in China currently. This is my father, Milton Simenhoff, who will turn 90 in December this year. For many years my father had been suffering from cancer. Since August, however, his existing cancer has spread, and caused much pain and discomfort. And unfortunately, just over a month ago he was diagnosed with a 2nd cancer, bone cancer, which obviously is incurable, especially because due to his advanced age he isn’t able to receive any standard cancer treatment. My fathers condition in the relatively short time since my last visit to South Africa in August, until today, have deteriorated severely. He’s currently constantly experiencing considerable pain, and moving with difficulty, he’s also not able to sit down, and to lie down isn’t easy either. My fathers mind and spirit are strong, but we’ve got only partial control over what happens to our body in the end, ultimately it is the will of the Holy Trinity which will determine my fathers future. I wish to see my dad again at the end of January next year, when I will return to South to visit for as long as I possibly can, before having to return to China. I’m asking my friends who want to: Please pray for my father, that his suffering will be lightened, and his days will be extended .... Thank you for reading
