To my single brothers: Where is your wife, Sarah? (Genesis 18:9). Sarah means queen. Since you, my brother, is a king in Christ only a Sarah [queen] is fit for you. You may select a wife on your own, but your Sarah will only come from God. This will make a huge difference in your life and ministry. 1. Dont settle for a Michal from Saul. David loved God and was humble, but his wife [Michal] was quite the opposite. She despised him for praising God and caused barrenness in his family. At the time he [David] went to bless his house, but her opposition brought a curse instead. Mere spiritual imbalance between the two stagnated multiplication (2 Samuel 6:20). 2. Dont bargain with Laban for your Rachael, you might just end up with a Leah (Genesis 29:25). Let God be the father giver, not Laban. Only through Rachael will you bring forth Joseph [purpose]. Your wife can be a helpmate or a hellmate. Only God can give helpmates.
