To my son; First off, Im not trying to embarrass or humiliate you. But since Im willing to do anything to get your attention, and this is where you normally go to get attention, allow me this attempt to tell you how I feel , and to hopefully make my point and come from a place of my love for you. Your name is not Marty the kidd. Youre not a gangster or a street thug. Your name is Logan Martinez and youre my son. The guy youve recently been portraying yourself to be isnt real. And all of the b.s. youve been doing lately isnt you. Im sorry I wasnt always always there. I take the Lions share of the blame for this. You know why. I chose selfishness over everything and I lived a lifestyle that cost us all a decade of being together. Had I been there you would respect women. Starting with your mom. You wouldnt have been allowed to hang out with these kids you swear are your friends. You wouldnt be a follower, nor would you be so eager for attention that you always felt you have to be Billy badass. So since this public forum is where you air out all your dirty laundry, this is my desperation option for trying to reach you. Please, please stop doing the bullshit youre doing. Please go look in the mirror and evaluate what you see. Youre a good looking smart young man with your whole life ahead of you. But, the things you do now are the tracks you will be following in the future. Enjoy life, but take it seriously. Its a gift from God.
