To my trucker friends out there can someone please help me understand something... Ok, when a truck and trailer comes in and is loaded at an elevator and we load say 989 bushels in the hopper on that truck. But that truck breaks down, so they attach loaded trailer on a different truck, but that truck weighs about 2000 pounds heavier. When that trailer delivers to the planned destination will the net (product) weight be different because of the truck switch??? Or another scenario.... Truck comes in and is low on fuel. He loads gets his ticket and then goes to fill up on fuel. Now has added a few hundred pounds of fuel to his truck. When he unloads at delivery destination will that fuel weight add to his net weight after he weighs IN and OUT and unloads his trailer?? Someone please help me out.
