To our Galilee family, We are blessed and comforted to know you all are praying for Zac. I have shared comments with him and read out the names of those who “like” comments related to him, and it warms his heart. He has been in tremendous pain up until late last night, when he started having great relief. He actually slept off and on through the night, and even the alarms didn’t bother him. (He is sleeping as I type this.) He is still having pain, but it is manageable now. Tomorrow he will have surgery to remove both shunts and the cerebral spinal fluid will drain directly from his head. The reason for removing the shunts is infection in his abdomen. Cultures are growing out to determine the specific microorganism we are fighting. In addition, there is a problem with his bladder. So, one shunt will be replaced hopefully next week after the bladder issues are resolved and the infection is gone. We truly appreciate your encouraging words and, most of all, your powerful prayers. We are praying that the infection be cleared and that his bladder will heal. We are praying that Zac will experience the peace of Jesus that surpasses our limited comprehension and the comfort that only points to Him. Thank you!
