To our Missionary Baptist People....Did you know we have no missionaries in Uruguay, Argentina, Chile, Suriname, Guyana, and French Guyana? Did you know that there are HUGE cities in South America where we have nobody working? Rio has millions of people. So does Buenos Aires. Lima, Peru has millions. These are cities where our folks have no workers. So you think you could not learn another language? You could work in English in the nation of Trinidad and Tobago, just a few miles from Venezuela. Or you could speak English in Guyana. Do you know that in Bolivia we just have one preacher? Will you pray with me that the Lord will send workers to these places? In South America, you can live in the mountains, on the ocean, in the desert, in the jungle, and everything in between. You can have snow every year, or be in a place where it is green all year long. You can live far out in the country or in a city of millions of people. You can work in Spanish, English, French, Portuguese, or one of two hundred Indian languages. You can work with Hindus, Muslims, Catholics, or Spiritists. You can work with people who live in one room shacks, or those who live in mansions like most Americans have never seen. Pray for the great continent of South America. And if God is calling you to South America, let me know how I can help you to survey your field, or help you get set up.
