To our Wagging Hearts community and beyond...we want to take a moment to apologize for the negative drama and sad situation that has kicked off this cloudy Monday. It is never our intention nor desire to air any situation in the open so it can be analyzed by a public forum as it has the ability to generate way too many assumptions, half-truths and falsities. The ripples spread to generate more negative than positive and sometimes the lies become tsunami waves that create colossal damage in its wake. Every situation has two sides and we understand that not everyone has the ability to dip their heads behind the curtain of deceit to see the light of truth. Rescue is an emotional and highly-charged arena where many feel they know best, where judgements are passed without understanding the full ramifications of everyones actions and intents. Let us be clear, we do not take dogs away from anyone without a real concern or cause. It is counterproductive to our mission and there are way too many lives out there that still need help. We are not power-hungry with the need to dictate what each person does with the projection of their lives. Our intent is to protect, advocate and stand behind each life that passes our way regardless of the time-frame, regardless of the situation. We have seen many coming out to judge our rescue and we are sorry for any that do not like who we are and what we do but we are here for the animals. Unfortunately not every decision we make will generate support from every corner of the public forum but our decisions are made with the best path forward for the animals. It is really that simple. We are not perfect but our actions stem from the root desire to be a voice for those without. We will no longer be participating in the previous thread of accusations and queries in this public forum as it will continue to generate more bad than good. We wanted to present the facts as we know them, not the misconstrued version being given via social media. We welcome any further questions or concerns to be sent via email at [email protected] so that we can get back to the business of saving lives. Thank you to all that continue to support us and we are sorry for anyone who may leave us due to this sad situation that has been misconstrued until it no longer resembled the actual events as they took place. Keep your faces toward the light and know we will continue to do the same. Keep sharing and caring Wagging Hearts community.
