To our lovely (and lots! ) of friends who have nominated us for the ice bucket challenge. We love your hearts for giving and are amazed at the awareness you are all raising for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis. (Which we had honestly never heard of prior to our nominations so thank you!) Although we have donated, we will not be taking up the bucket challege. Our trips to Africa have lead us to see many water related issues. From mothers in the slums, having to save up to afford a sadwich bag of clean water. To children having to drink from unsafe streams and lakes. Out of respect for our wonderful Kenyan friends on FB we do not feel it right for us to throw two buckets of water over our heads for charity, when the charities we support see so many suffer without. This is in no way to make anyone else feel bad about their own choices regarding this. We love the entertainment!! Keep up the good work raising awareness :)
