To our valued customers and the public we serve: Back in September, one of our Page administrators shared the status update of someone whose political views were held in common on a hot issue. One individual commented on the post, and they were right to say what they said. The opinions put forth in the post were potentially incendiary, and definitely hit a nerve with that commenter. Wed like to apologize for what was posted. We have deleted the post and do not wish to amplify the problem by repeating what was said. The political views and opinions of those who work here do not necessarily reflect those of our company. Our founders had their own opinions but were scrupulous about not causing needless offense. They certainly never used this company as a soapbox to spread anyones views. That wasnt the intention here; it was just a Facebook accident. Were going to follow in our founders footsteps on this. Were going to be extra cautious from here on out that what we post as personal items stay on our own pages rather than the companys. We also take this opportunity to thank the community we serve for over 50 years of their patronage. The cemetery also has served this community for over 130 years. We want to remain a place people feel comfortable visiting, a place to unite in the face of indignity and suffering, to find solace at the worst time of their lives. Please accept our sincerest apologies over this error.
