To our young families. . . From a prayer from my friend, Pastor Mark. . . To the many parents who have exhausted themselves and their families in the desire to support their childrens sports and other activities. Then this morning I hear a report on the radio stating that cereal sales are down because people believe it takes too much time to pour it into a bowl, add milk, eat and then have to put the bowl and spoon in the dishwasher. Have we become too busy for ourselves - and for God? May we be reminded that God designed Sabbath for us because God knows we need it. May all our families slow down, even stop from time to time in order to reconnect with God and with each other.
