To people who feel the Old Testament is not relevant today: (this may be long, but I promise there is a point that I needed to make) In the book of Jonah, God told Jonah to go tell the people of Nineveh (Iraq) to repent, and turn from their sin. Jonah refused because the Ninevites were so corrupt, vile, evil, wicked, etc... Jonah tried to run away, and set off for Tarshish (Greece?) by boat. God caused a great storm that nearly capsized the boat... enter the great fish, Jonah spends 3 days and 3 nights is the belly of said fish and is spit up on the shore... 3 days away from Nineveh... so he goes and does what God told him to do, to tell the people of Nineveh to repent. Look at a map of where ISIS is systematically beheading children... and you will see that Nineveh, Iraq is at the center of it. Nineveh, the corrupt, the VILE, the EVIL, the WICKED... beheading children, raping women before beheading them, hanging fathers... and placing the heads of precious babies, children, on poles and placing them around playgrounds. Pray Read the book of Jonah, and tell me it is not relevant today. Pray. History is repeating itself, (cant help but wonder if Nineveh wont be destroyed this time... unless of course the wicked repent) Pray for the church and all infidels that ISIS seeks to eliminate. And pray everyone in ISIS repent, and that they would meet Jesus before it is too late. Pray for the babies and the children, they must be so scared... pray that the Lord comforts them, and that they feel His arms of love wrapped around them.
