To publicly answer a question I just received: I am an eclectic reader so my tastes vary from the vanilla to extra chocolate cookie dough fudge drizzle with sprinkles (you get the point). So although I enjoy many of the same books by the popular authors, I try reach outside of the that circle and read books by authors who may not be on the popular radar. Sure, the goal is to enjoy books, but the discovery process for me includes inviting new books and authors into my world. As you will see from my list, there are authors there who are on the buzz list but also wonderful authors that you may not know about that are just waiting to be discovered. It was my list so I added who I wanted to it. I make no apologies for not including any books that other people thought should be there. The interwebz is free...by all means, please start your own blog so you can list the people who you want on your list. Must things always be so hard...
