To reitorate emphatically what Soulpersona said earlier... Just slowly coming to terms with the realisation that our song The World Outside is the BBC Introducing Track of The Week and the fact it just got exposed to hundreds of thousands of people across the world courtesy of BBC Radio 1Xtra.... I can honestly say I never thought something of this magnitude would ever happen. I have been told by so many industry people throughout the years that soulful music doesnt sell, that soulful music isnt for the mainstream and that there is no market for soulful music in the commercial spectrum... I am happy that we have put that theory to bed with our soulful stepper The World Outside that was recorded in my dining room and Freesias bedroom on opposite sides of the globe. We now have a whole week of BBC airplay on 1Xtra to look forward to and well carry on with no expectations, just happy to get this far and thankful for every one who is supporting what we do... Its a big world outside. Really bloody proud of us actually. :) x
