To say that Im overwhelmed from this outpouring of love for my mother...well, that would be putting it mildly. Thank you all for the prayers, thoughts, and good vibes. Seriously.... My mother is going to get a pacemaker. She has been having fainting spells for a month or so. She had one on Friday that scared her enough to want to go to the Dr about it. (She had an appointment set for tomorrow morning) Around noon today she had another spell, and my brother put his foot down and we all headed for the ER. As soon as the nurses did an EKG, everything got rather exciting. They moved her to a bigger room and started using words like shock and heart in the same sentence. Which is just what they did, but couldnt get her heart back to normal rhythm. So, here I am...barreling up the highway with my brother, headed for the Heart Hospital. Ive heard from the Life Flight nurses...she had a very smooth flight and is tucked safely in her room. SHE has even called us from her room, checking to make sure we were driving safely. Is your brother driving with both hands on the wheel? **sigh** Much love to all of you....and many thanks.
