To say this past year has been very sad, very happy, and ultimately very amazing...doesnt do this year justice. This is the 2nd Christmas without my Dad, he is still a large part of my life and I dont make many decisions without first thinking of what he would say about it. I think he would be proud of his entire family - I think he would be happy that I finally got around to working with children full-time (he loved kids) and with the decisions Im making. My Dad instilled a love of music in me. While he wasnt the biggest Elvis fan (I am), this is one of my favorites. Its an oldies song and reminds me of riding around in my Dads truck, windows rolled down, drinking some of his Pepsi with the ice all melted, and singing along with the radio.
