To set the record right! My love for GMB was borne from the principles that I was made and believed. It started a Long time ago , precisely when it was ripe enough for me to enroll in high school. Before then, as a child, I had dreams and fantasies. Part of the dream was to be and attend the school my senior brother and sister attended which were majorly not in Nigeria. So, the dream was never achieved and why? First, about that time, my Daddy died and we all know what that means. That,could have been possible solely with my mum if the story she told me on why it was very easy for my Dad to sponsor two of his kids in an America University with no much ado were to be effective during my time. My mum told me that my brother and sister school fees in America were all paid in Naira not dollar and that was possible when Buhari was calling it shot . That was my first time of hearing that name Buhari and that arouse my curiosity on the Man. So, I went into reading a whole lot things on him and all the story seems the same and if I may say...it has themes that centered on INTERGRITY, COMPASSION,UPRIGHTNESS,STEWARDESS So, I added him as one of my role models. I became his follower as far back as Imo River...when I can barely know what politics is all about. When I have not attended the age of voting! So, having seen, read and feel his antecedents and I was very convinced that ,if he should be on the helms of affair, perhaps, what I could not achieve during my time, my Kids, my Children Children will achieve. He will fix and strengthen our rotten system . That I know! That is my story and in him I, Gift Onyinye stands!
