To summarize what I have been saying the whole week, carbohydrates are the one that are making you fat. If you eat less and still surprised why you get fat, you are probably drinking those carbohydrates and not even aware of it. There are 3 types of simple sugars, namely: - Glucose, found in plants and animal blood - Fructose, found in fruits, yes, even 100% fruit juices - Lactose, found in milk The problem is that sugar is sweet and makes our food to taste great. Sorry, Hon. Bishop Lekganyane, thats a fact. Sugar is sweet and very tasty. Sugar isnt a bad nutrient on its own, it supplies you with energy. The problem is how we consume it. If you consume it in its simplest form, i.e as glucose, fructose and lactose, your body switches to emergency mode and releases insulin. Insulin is a hormone that converts sugar in your body to fat for storage. Thats what makes you fat. Eat your carbohydrates, dont drink them, unless you want to get fat. #TeamFitness #HealthyEating
