To tell the truth, I have not adjusted to the civilian world - TopicsExpress

To tell the truth, I have not adjusted to the civilian world workforce at all. Im still used to the Army/ Air Force way of life and its a bit difficult it to leave that mindest alone. Being a paratrooper, I had that pride and confidence that most people never had. I knew my discipline was Always in affect when I was at work. I guess I just have to get adjusted to how the rest of the world conducts their daily business because it is a for sure culture shock. I may not express it, but its running through my mind every second. Sometimes I wanna yell at someone when theyre being un disciplined or things like that. But I have to realize I cant do that anymore and its driving me nuts lol.!!! Moral of the story is, Mentally, leaving active duty for a civilian job where their isnt anyone whos a been in your shoes is very difficult. Idk if you can ever transfer your mindset after having the structure and discipline instilled in your brain for so long. We will see how this goes !!!!!!!
