To tell the truth, I was not the best of sons as far as my mother was concerned but she loved me just the same. I argued with her, was disrespectful sometimes, and was disobedient to the rules of her household but she loved me just the same. I used to say out loud how when I got old enough I could not wait to leave and when I did she cried because she loved me just the same. And when I was the further away claiming to be independent but broke and busted she sent me care packages despite having no independent income of her own because she loved me just the same. 29 years ago she left this mortal plane and lives forever in the spiritual realm with God. I miss her tremendously, try to live up to her example, and be the son she always wanted me to be because despite the arguments, disobedience, and disrespect, I loved her just the same.
