To the 2 young ladies on the front page of the local rag today that were involved in the fiery crash with one of our fuel tankers on the Peak downs Hwy March 8. I feel genuine sympathy for you that you lost 2 horses, suffered some burns and lost all your horse riding gear, I honestly do. I am really happy that your friends have organised a fund raiser today to buy new Horse riding gear for you. I am really happy that you still, Have your sense of humour as you so eagerly pointed out. One little, minor thing that you both have missed. A young driver of ours, Age 34 died in that tanker explosion, he unlike you pair was unable to get out and subsequently burnt to death !!!! His name was Peter Carr and the day he died he left behind a young son and a young wife who both loved him. Just thought I would mention that seeing that the paper and yourselves seemed to overlook the fact. A little mention in the paper would not have hurt. Maybe you might be able to throw a Bridle or Harness their way to. :)
