To the Darts Associations of Estonia, the Faeroe Islands, Latvia, Lithuania and Russia Nordic Cup 2014 We would like to inform you that the Nordic Invitational in darts 2014 will take place at the Hotel Natura, Reykjavík, May 28th – June 1st 2014. A provisional timetable (subject to change) Wednesday May 28th : Arrival of teams. Get-together and presentation of teams. Thursday May 29th : Teams event. Round robin and semi-finals. Friday May 30th : Pairs event (except finals). Singles event (except finals). Saturday May 31st : Stage finals. Sunday June 1st : Nordic Cup Open. We have formally invited Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden to send teams to the event. Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Russia have not participated in the Nordic Invitational for some years and the Faeroe Islands have never taken part in it. For obvious reasons, travelling to Iceland from most of your countries is relatively expensive and we have therefore not considered it very probable that there would be teams from these countries this year. We wish however to let you know about the event, the dates, venue and prices. (We have estimated the price per person to be 570 euros in a double room, assuming only five countries are participating). We kindly ask you to reply to this e-mail, letting us know if your country would be interested in taking part in the Nordic Invitational 2014. We would be happy to take this into consideration.
