To the Governor and legislators. Already the posturing to suspend the class size initiative has begun. The Republicans are already somewhat agreeing with the Gov. who only funds the K-3 part of the initiative this two year budget. With the Gov. and the Republicans already seemingly to agree to suspend it I am warning all Democrats to not go along with it. It is easy to do since it makes for good cover if everyone agrees to suspend it. It takes two thirds of the legislature to suspend it so Democrats will have to go along. Do not. I will not vote for, campaign for, donate to, any Democrat who supports the suspension of the class size initiative. In fact, I will be happy to support their opponent regardless of who it is. We have waited for years for the legislature to do their job in fully funding education. Now you have the Supreme Court telling you to do so and the will of the people telling you to do so. No more excuses. Do your job. (as an aside taking the moderate road regarding education sure did not help you in the last election Democrats)
