To the Naysayers To the naysayers, I say Bah Humbug! - TopicsExpress

To the Naysayers To the naysayers, I say Bah Humbug! I have written a couple of notes lately that use what’s going on in this world to prove a point. I find it interesting that that point is not getting across, all because the naysayers would rather argue about the surrounding subjects, rather than the topic of discussion. The main or primary target of the notes was to address the condemnation, so-called Christians want to lay on the body, rather than trying to be understanding, kindly note I did not say tolerant, of. Rom 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. Even though there should be no condemnation for the aforementioned acts, there are those who are so wrapped up in Jewish law, they are blinded to the fact that they’re missing the point. Funny how that works out, because their arguments with the notes actually prove what I’m saying. Exo 20:8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Exo 20:9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: It shouldn’t matter to people what day is the Sabbath as long as that Sabbath day is a day of rest. There are too many who have jobs that must work on Saturday, otherwise they have no job. In this particular day and age, people need work to help pay for their bills, but according to the naysayers, these people are breaking the law. Surprise, surprise, surprise, the only people that are breaking the law are the naysayers, by bringing condemnation of those who are forced to work, according to man’s idea of what the Sabbath day is. Nowhere in God’s Word does it name the first day that God began to create, nor does it give the name of the Sabbath in which He rested, so why make people feel bad for having to work on man’s dictation of the seventh day? For those who actually want to bring a charge of condemnation to the body, let your condemnation begin with Jesus Himself; Mat 12:1 At that time Jesus went on the sabbath day through the corn; and his disciples were an hungred, and began to pluck the ears of corn, and to eat. Mat 12:2 But when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto him, Behold, thy disciples do that which is not lawful to do upon the sabbath day. Mat 12:3 But he said unto them, Have ye not read what David did, when he was an hungred, and they that were with him; Mat 12:4 How he entered into the house of God, and did eat the shewbread, which was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them which were with him, but only for the priests? Mat 12:5 Or have ye not read in the law, how that on the sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the sabbath, and are blameless? Mat 12:6 But I say unto you, That in this place is one greater than the temple. Mat 12:7 But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless. Mat 12:8 For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day. So if Jesus, the Son of man is Lord over the Sabbath, do you suppose that He knew already the results of today’s world and that some would have to work, on man’s dictation of the Sabbath? Or in your eyes, is Jesus wrong as well and needs to also be condemned by the naysayers? Mat 12:9 And when he was departed thence, he went into their synagogue: Mat 12:10 And, behold, there was a man which had his hand withered. And they asked him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath days? that they might accuse him. Mat 12:11 And he said unto them, What man shall there be among you, that shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the sabbath day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift it out? Mat 12:12 How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days. Mat 12:13 Then saith he to the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it forth; and it was restored whole, like as the other. Jesus knew this day was coming and the difficulties that would ensue, maybe that’s why He asked if it was more noble to take care of the family, rather than letting them starve, live in pain, or die. We are the sheep! How about the condemning charges people are bringing against those who choose to celebrate Jesus birth? It’s not always about the presents for some, sometimes it’s more about the presence, than anything else. Mat 2:1 Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, Mat 2:2 Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him. Mat 2:3 When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him. Mat 2:4 And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born. Mat 2:5 And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet, Mat 2:6 And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel. Mat 2:7 Then Herod, when he had privily called the wise men, enquired of them diligently what time the star appeared. Mat 2:8 And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also. Mat 2:9 When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was. Mat 2:10 When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy. Mat 2:11 And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh. Now if we have any knowledge of time frames, we know that these wise men did not show up on the day of Christ’s birth, in fact they were a couple of years late. Even though they were late, they still celebrated Christ’s coming and honored Him, His birth, all because what was prophesied from days of old, Christ would emancipate His people and have reign over the known world. For me, that is a perfect reason to celebrate Christ’s birth, but there is an added advantage, we get to take back what satan has stolen, and God gets to turn evil to good. The problem here is the naysayers, if you think you’re serving God, just look at the Pharisees, they also thought they were serving God, but they weren’t were they? So to the naysayers, I shout; bah humbug! hum•bug noun \ˈhəm-ˌbəg\ : language or behavior that is false or meant to deceive people : someone or something that is not honest or true something designed to deceive and mislead a willfully false, deceptive, or insincere person an attitude or spirit of pretense and deception, An imposition. NONSENSE, DRIVEL Let us stop jumping on idiotic bandwagons of men, and start seeking God, just like we are commanded to, Amen!!!
