To the Springfield PD and Greene County Sheriffs at the Cox Rd sobriety check point.... Your tests are stupid. Any perfectly sober person will appear to be drunk by these tests, because who can look at their own ear for 10-20 seconds with 200 lumens directly in their eyes...20 times in a row!!! Ever think maybe someone is just tired? Maybe they had 4 hrs sleep the night before? Maybe they had a Hurts Donut and their blood glucose is through the roof and their insulin hasnt kicked in? Why should I get a severe headache from massive eye strain because this guy wants to feel important. Just give everybody a breathalyzer and send them on their way or arrest them. Dont waste their time with idiotic checks that most people cant pass in the middle of the day. There are lots of easier ways to see if someone is drunk. Our tax dollars at work!
