To the St.Bernard Rec. Dept........Hi, I have a complaint on a referee. On 10/24/2013, 7/8 yr. old Packers, a white cap referee called a flag on a play for poor sportsmanship on the coach b/c he said YEAH when his player was running to make a touchdown. As soon the player made a touchdown the ref threw a flag. Then he told that player he had to sit down for the next play. Why? Nobody knows. Many dont think that is right to call that flag b/c this is little kids playing their hardest and it means everything to them to make a touchdown, especially when that player ran like 30 yards. Why is it ok for the one team coaches to cheer but not the other? There were other coaches and parents on different teams who seen that play and flag and disagrees too. That was an uncalled flag and it did hurt the Packers. But even if it didnt hurt the Packers it is still an uncalled flag. Its not fair/right to have best friends as referees and make unfair calls for the other team. This isnt the first time a referee made unfair calls and we as parents are getting tried of this. Our kids dont work hard for nothing but now it seems like it. Not everybody has friends as referees and if that what it takes then Im about to have more best friends so my son and his team can win all games unfair like others!!!!!!!!!!!
