To the Students going back to school: May you take delight in learning, growing and exploring this amazing world that God has created. May you be blessed with good friends who believe in God, care about doing right and love to learn. May the Spirit of God mold your developing mind. Like Daniel, be willing to stand alone when those around you choose a wrong road. Like Moses, be persistent on the journey even if the road seems hot and dry. Respect your teachers, love your friends and your enemies and work diligently. May your work be hard enough that you are challenged to grow, but easy enough that you don*t get overwhelmed and discouraged. May your love for God and your love for others guide you through the year. May you grow in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and with others. May you be salt and light in your school this year.
