To the TW Emmaus Community…… The TW Emmaus Board met Thursday night to review plans for the 2013 Fall Walks. The board received information on pilgrim applications for the men’s walk (TW 102) as 17 confirmed, 2 additional applications in hand, and the report of another application on the way. This does not meet the minimum number of 20 confirmations required by our Walk guidelines to proceed with the walk. However, based on this report, the board voted to delay final decision to postpone the walks until the last possible minute. The last possible minute is just before TW Emmaus must pay half the cost of the walk to reserve Wakefield as the Walk site. That date is Friday, August 23rd. By August 23rd, we must have 20 confirmed in hand (spoken to and accepted) or the walk will be postponed until the Spring. Please remember the women’s walk (TW 103) is just around the corner.
