To the community: Almost 900 animals entered our shelter in August, a record high, and intake has not slowed down. KC Pet Project is critically full and we need to move animals into FOSTER or ADOPTIVE homes as soon as possible. This is a life-saving request and we will take any assistance, even short-term foster. If you can help, fill out the KC Pet Project Foster Application at kcpetproject.org/online-foster-application/, then contact Foster Coordinator, Meghan Porter, at [email protected] to make arrangements. If you have previously fostered for KCPP, no need to fill out the application.
