To the dark haired woman driving the dark green sedan on NE Day Road at approximately ten to five this evening: I humbly apologize for slowing you down as your hurried home tonight in your car. Although the section of road between 305 and Madison has no bike lane, narrow shoulders and only intermittent sidewalks, you were absolutely correct to lay on the horn and throw me the evil eye as you passed me as I rode my bike home. I am completely at fault for rudely taking up your space and momentarily causing you to slow down as I rode along, enjoying the fresh air and greenery. If you could provide me with your contact information, I will make sure to arrange a time where I can come by and do some yard work or laundry to repay you for the fifteen seconds I might have increased your drive time this evening. If you could also provide me with your driving schedule on a weekly basis I will make sure to coordinate with my neighbors so we can all stay clear of whichever streets you drive on so you can have them all to yourself and enjoy an evening commute free from the inconsiderate intrusions from the rest of the world.
