To the guy blasting christmas music out of Horan- I do think calling the cops was excessive, it should have been handled with dorm-level authorities, HOWEVER youve seen people posting confessions for this about a week, youve had people come to your door- obviously its been bothering people. not trying to be a scrooge or anything, but you started playing it literally a month and a half before christmas and its repetitive noise. Truly any kid of noise gets under the skin once its been playing over and over again. But even though you KNEW it was bothering some people, you didnt halt it. Thats why youre being frowned upon. Also, a story was shared with me once of a person who was raped around christmas time in their home. After this happened they became extremely adversive to anything Christmas related- the tree, THE MUSIC, and even their own cat who was in the home. It induced major anxiety in them. If someone happened to have an aversion such as this to Christmas music here on campus, this would make them feel very uncomfortable :/
