To the hearty, ridiculously polite folks of Calgary, Alberta: Otafest has set the bar by which all other one-day conventions are judged. Thank you not only for being the sort of people to generously hand a couple of Texans fresh off the plane a set sub-zero-ready outdoor gear, but who take excellent care of your staff an attendees as well. Its conventions like Otafest that make the word con synonymous with family.
