To the man who nearly killed me and didnt bat an eye: We were on the Tennessee bridge, so I used extra caution. I always stay 4 car lengths behind 18-wheelers regardless. However, this did not protect me when a sheet of metal and other debris, flew out of your truck and hit my windshield. I couldnt swerve or break. I took my foot off the gas and braced the impact. ***By the Grace of God, I am okay, and so are my fur babies.*** I dont have time to think about this because have to warn you. I flag you down multiple times. You acknowledge me, yet continue to speed ahead. I call highway patrol and get in front of you. Thats when you try to lose me. You abruptly cross two traffic lanes and swerve off the interstate. You realize my mad woman driving skills are unparalleled, even in nascar, so you pull over several miles later. You saw the metal hit my car, however it wasnt your fault. You go on to say that the metal couldnt have fallen out of your truck because everything was tied down. I dont know what bothers me more, the fact that you saw me and another car get hit, and didnt stop. Or the fact that you even drove today, knowing your truck wasnt up to CDL standards. You caused $6,000 damage to my car and nearly killed me, without batting an eye. What if I had been your daughter???? You tried to run and ignore it. I will send everything I have to your companys insurance provider. I can only hope it gets you out of a semi and keeps other drivers safe.
