To the mutual friends I share with Elizabeth Couch Nordstrom, who is an admin in the group, I am a Liberal - Earlier today, she banned myself, Alan Russell Carter, and Michael Wade Douglass, from her group because we had the temerity to expose and challenge white privilege and racism being promulgated around the issue of the murder of Michael Brown at the hands of Darren Wilson. Apparently Ms. Nordstrom felt it was preferable to accept frank racism and outrageous racial animus because all those folks are still in the group, while weve been shown the door... If any of my friends find that position tenable, please, unfriend me right now because there really is no negotiation on this point. I will ALWAYS confront these issues head-on when they present themselves, regardless of the setting, or whose delicate sensibilities may be offended in the process. From Michael Wade Douglass: So much for letting trolls spread lies and disinformation on your page and banning the people who expose them. How do you sleep? This isnt about pleasant or civil discourse. This is about truth, something youve obviously inoculated yourself against. Are you more in favor of decorum than honesty? Are you more in favor of being a bulkhead between decency and justice than you are just going along? The answer, to those of us who rose up against abject mendacity and the perpetuation of racial animus, the answer us is painfully obvious. You are a coward and a troll.
