To the people of Onigaming, VOTE Sandra Indian for Council. She will bring a breath of fresh air and a different perspective to the issues that face your community. For to long now the Chief and Council system imposed on us by Canada has acted to divide us and promote conflict amongst ourselves. It is time step back and look to ourselves to bring about resolution to the issues of poverty that this system has us bound up in. Sandra can bring this perspective to the fore and facilitate community discussion and dynamic to really address the situation so that community owned solutions can be generated to empower our people, especially our young people, to look after their own interests as our people did before the colonial systems were imposed on us. Sandra can do this because she has been in the trenches for the past thirty years working with our young people and the elders to make changes in the individual hearts and minds of our people.
