To the people saying that the police on purpose targeted the peaceful crowd marching on the parliament house (armed with sticks and stones.)..this is what i have to say: For 17 days the protestors stayed on the streets and did as they pleased...in fact CDA facilitated them...made arrangements for the toilets and other stuff...for 17 days the leaders delivered their speeches every night and people protested peacefully. There was music, crowd danced...it was party atmosphere. No sticks or stones in sight. Police and security forces had plenty of chances to disrupt this gathering and take down the leaders of this March or harm the protestors....yet they didnt because they had no reason to. But then the atmosphere changed and PAT workers started digging their own graves , put on their kaffans and started gathering Gas masks, Sticks , marbles and sling shots. Then the next day they decided to March on the Parliament house even though there was a breakthrough and progress in negotiations. When they crossed the red line that is when the police who are a law enforcement agency had to enforce the law. It is their duty. If they wanted to target innocent and peaceful protestors they had plenty of chances to do so in the 17 days that the protesters stayed there. Did they fire tear gas at the crowd before they decided to march when there was dancing and music going on?
