To the person sitting behind me at the stoplight, I know you are in a hurry to get where you need to go! Unfortunately for you, I can see the traffic coming down the highway that I really do not want to pull out in front of. Unfortunately for you when the arrow turns green and the cars across from us have the right of way to turn, I am not going to turn at the same time and side swipe them or have them side swipe me. Unfortunately for you I am in front of you and dont mind waiting the extra 5 or 10 seconds to go, and when you keep blowing your horn at me I might wait an extra 20 seconds. I know you could have gotten to that next right light half a second faster if I would have pulled out, but then again, if I would have pulled out in front of that car when you wanted me to, you would have been sitting there much longer blowing your horn while they picked up the pieces of my car, the other car, and possibly body parts. I did that 3 years ago when someone couldnt wait for their light to turn green, and I still walk with a cane. So you continue to blow your horn but I will continue to drive safely. You are not worth another moment of my thought or irritation, and one day you will be picking up your own car parts as I go by and honk at you!
