To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved (Ephesians 1:6). I love to say “Jesus is wonderful.” Scripture says “And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?” (Matthew 27:46). Jesus as the Father’s beloved was forsaken so that you and I who believe in Him could be accepted. You will never know/understand how much God loves you (Ephesians 3:19) till you fathom how much He loved Jesus but chose to give Him up so we could be accepted. Hallelujah!
