To the pull yourself up by your bootstraps crowd the WSJ( Wall Stree Journal) bible of business ina n article stated that of the 23 Billion dollars in bailout monies to restore the investment firms and American banks from the crash in 2007 /2008 when wewere losing 700,000 a month foreclosures became rampant and many lost or are stillin the process of losing thier homes which happens to be thier collateral/equity into the Middle Classonly 1.7 % ofthe SBA Small Business Loans are being given to Black business/ entrepeneurs. You would think that notonly Black business would be screaming the CBC Congressional Black Caucus and the Republican party itself would be all over this. If small business creates the jobs as they always say and it will raise folks out of poverty then whee is the outrage ? Black women make up 60 % or more of the entrepeneurs and business owners and yet arent getting access to the cash need to grow and expand opportunity. To be fair the banks arent really giving many loans to small business period except those who are worth or exceeed 1 million dollars in profit and or sales. Now you cant get there without capital and you need capital monies toi invest. Heres another one the Black /Hispanic /minority& women farmers and ranchers who all were a part of the Pigford class action lawsuit against the USDA( US dept. of Agriculture ) because minority women Black and Hispanic farmers /ranchers /orcharidists were denied loans to that most of thier White counterparts were getting without question or reservervation and yet many republicans matter of fact most republicans were angainst the victims because they felt said it was just a scheme ie: Reparations money and had no merit. Now if you are trying to live the American dream by being your own boss creating wealth for you and others being a good steward and yet the same folks who tell you pull your self up by your own bootstraps block or deny you that opportunity in the same breath then what do you make of that ? They are lying fake and perpetrating a fraud theyare just doing lipservice and dont mean what they say is thier creed /mantra ! They have no credibility.
