To the pwd who didnt know we were having a PwD Day Out at Aboretum yesterday,lm sorry that l never posted it in my wall but l beg and beg to be forgiven. I really had a busy time last week. We have a forum here on facebook that we discuss many of these things. Its Disability Forum Kenya Chapter. Just like it and well add u. And this is for categories of disabilities. We are on to a good thing and we need all of us to be there. If you are a friend of pwd, u are also welcome to interact with us. Welcome! We have known from experience that we are not easy to take out esp we who are on the extreme side. And l dont blame guys. We are a challenge to take out and most men dont have courage to. Its ur loss though...so we decided, while still KU,to be taking ourselves out to jienjoy and have fun. I remember 14 Falls and sailing on the R. Chania, dancing to that Mugithi man there and doing things our way without embarrassment, just being ourselves...A day out to Nakuru National Park, gazing out and watching the beautiful scenery, flamingoes and other animals...even the blind and visually impaired with faces glued on the windows! Si we were tourist yawa! And so on...and wed feel good getting back singing at the top of our voices and people wondering if Walemavu can also have fun. Yes,we can! U should have been there jana watching us at our games. Yes,people stopped to stare but it was a positive staring and we didnt care. U can only get the ribbing between disability groups only at such gatherings. We have tasted how sweet it is...and our lips are smacking for more...
