To the residents of Fremont and the Ellis School staff: I am very pleased to announce that we have been able to negotiate a full-time contract for an Interim Superintendent for SAU #83 for the 2013/2014 school year. Please join me in welcoming Betsey Cox-Buteau to our district. She arrives Monday, July 15, 2013 so please introduce yourselves to her and welcome her to our district. Dr. Cox-Buteau received her undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College and completed her graduate and doctoral degree from the University of New Hampshire. During the past year she has been an Interim Superintendent at SAU #87 - Mascenic School District and prior to that she served as the Associate Superintendent at SAU #41 in Hollis, NH for 3 years. Other previous positions include Director of Curriculum, Grants and Data in Allenstown, NH as well as the Principal position there. We plan to continue the fine work that has been set in motion over the past few years. Please watch for announcements about upcoming committee meetings and ongoing project updates throughout the rest of the summer. On behalf of the entire school board, thank you.
