To the surprise of many of you I voted yesterday and I always have. Give me a minute and Ill tell you why. As African Americans born into this design we have not reached the point where we have let go of the hand of the oppresser. We wear his clothes, weaves and eat the poisonous foods we first tasted during slavery and have never stopped. We are fully dependent on the same master who kidnapped our ancestors some 395 years ago. If we were a self sufficient people able to govern our finances and laws of our own the way it should be then I can say to hell with their Politicians and votes. That unfortunately is not the case. A few years ago a mid western congressman suggested that the voting rights of all African Americans be removed being as though we dont vote anyway. You may think this is absurd and unthinkable but you are dealing with an oppresser who has menaced the earth from his beginning. Because of your SPIRITUAL connection to the most high there is only so much the oppresser can do to you. What he is best at is allowing you to give him more power over you than he should have. We do this in many ways being totally removed from our natural selves. We all should be voting especially if you are struggling to let go of his hand as most of us are.
