To think that we can end poverty under capitalism is a delusion. - TopicsExpress

To think that we can end poverty under capitalism is a delusion. Currency and wealth inherently create and perpetuate poverty, its how these two institutions are sustained. If everyone in the world had the same amount of money, money would be worthless. If everyone had the same access to basic resources and needs, wealth wouldnt exist. Wealth and currency can only be maintained by creating the condition of want, and want is created and sustained by depriving people access to basic needs through disproportionate allocation. So, no, we cant end poverty unless we end the very institutions that create it. Anywhere that currency and wealth exists, so will poverty. Wealth and currency are only based on our belief in them. If we simply stop believing in wealth and currency, then those two institutions will fall apart. Question is, are you willing to not believe in them?
