To those being full of the Holy Ghost. I have a message for you in dealing with the lost. Remember this. The lost and even those who are seeking but still havent surrendered do not have the comforter therefore they are still in bondage. They may not be the happiest people, and if we think about it and we can remember back when we were in their shoes, we can understand why. I know that I myself was miserable, beaten up by the devil, had a bad mouth, my nerves were shot, I had been without sleep, my anxiety level was through the roof and I really didnt care if I lived another day or not. Im not proud of it but Im not going to lie either. One time I cursed a preacher till a fly wouldnt light on him. I probably paid for it afterwards too. I can just remember being under so much stress and pressure I was about to break. Soooooo, knowing all this and knowing what help me was this.....when other people were patient, long suffering and kind to me anyway. Did I deserve it? No and there was a point I realized I didnt deserve it. In that moment was when I realized that Love does exist and love is true. Only Jesus can show us this kind of love. Lets continue to abide in it. David sought out a member of Sauls family to bless him for the sake of Johnathan. David loved Sauls son Jonathan, even though Saul had continuously tried to kill him and take heir to the throne. When David found a relative to bless, he said himself that he was low as a dog and unworthy of Davids blessing. This man had been crippled and lame since birth, and at now fault of his own. Guess what Davids response was to this man? You shall eat at the kings table for the rest of your days!!!!!! A man that has been brought low and humbled by God will feel lower than a dog. That is where we need to seek them out, bless them and invite them to the supper table! Did you know that from birth that we spiritually are crippled and lame? We remain that way until we get in touch with the great physician. He will bind up our wounds, heal us of our sickness and set us at a table to eat on a continuous feast. What does the Bible say about the comforter? John 14:15If ye love me, keep my commandments. 16And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. 18I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. 19Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also. 20At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. 21He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. 22Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world? 23Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. 24He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Fathers which sent me.
