To those in the WSPD Family: Sent Wed.: I just received word that former Chief Joe Masten has been moved to Hospice as of this morning. He has some type of cancer of the blood. He can have visitors and Naida requested that I let everyone know. I do not have a room number at the Hospice center but will forward further information as it becomes available. Please keep Joe and Naida in your thoughts and prayers. Sent Thurs: I received an e-mail this morning with new information regarding former Chief Joe Masten. The doctors have now told Naida the cancer is bone cancer. Joe is in room # 7 at the Hospice Center. Please continue to keep Joe and Naida in your thoughts and prayers. Second Message on Thurs.: I just received word that Joe and Naida appreciate our thoughts and prayers but are requesting that Joe not have visitors at this time. Thanks.
