To those of you who believe capitalism is in its cancer stage and that money needs to go away so we can live in a truly abundant and cooperative civilization, I whole heartedly agree with you. However, I dont believe its going to happen by protesting money or living poor. I did this for a while and it got me know where and only made me miserable. I believe were approaching the second stage of human civilization and as technology becomes more advanced and hence increases our abilities, it seems evident that abundance is on the horizon. As we know, capitalism is the opposite of abundance. Without scarcity, capitalism cannot function. With that said, I dont believe it serves you or anyone else to live poor or endure financial hardships in order to stand for something you believe in. I believe the better approach is to add value to the world, become financially abundant, and then use that monetary energy to help change the world. Im confident that with time, things will naturally change and we will soon become a interdependent sharing cooperative world, opposed to an individualistic selfish competitive world.
