To those of you who brought The Affair into my life ( Elizabeth Lee and Stacy Wilkerson and Lili Saint Germain ), thank you for the additional stress and anxiety. Gah. This show. (SPOILER ALERT! IF YOU HAVENT WATCHED YET, TURN BACK NOW!) Last night I think I saw one of the most amazing feats of acting ever. Maura Tierney KILLED IT when she lost control on Noah. Ive never been cheated on (that I know of) but I have been driven to the brink of insanity by someone I love before and I could FEEL her rage and hurt and pain and she was hardly speaking! Girlfriends left eye twitched when she found that bra and I think my heart exploded. I am a busy person and one that likes to keep busy, so I dont ever just sit and watch television. I fold laundry, check and respond to emails, address giveaway prizes, chat online, etc and the TV is just kind of on in the background. But last night, I shoved that laundry aside yall and tuned in fully. Way to go, Maura. I seriously appreciate anyone who is so amazingly skilled at their craft. I want to be the kind of writer that she is an actor. I dont think Ive felt a TV or movie characters feelings that way before or at least not in a long time.
