To those of you who have purchased a piece of art from me recently, I thank you for that because it is helping me keep busy as well as helping to pay living expenses and medical bills for my recent illness. To all the new fans on this page, all the lovely members of the various art groups Ive recently joined, all the friends and family who always believed this could happen...THANK YOU!!! I have been making art that makes me happy and youre all loving it, too. It feels really, really great! The art I have made previously may have been technically sound, aesthetically pleasing, and it still had a little bit of me in there somewhere, but something always felt amiss. I am forever grateful that you are all showing so much love and support for this art. It has taken me years to be okay with the following idea: It is better to be creating art that fulfills me rather than making art for the masses that makes me feel so dissatisfied. Sometimes you just need a little spark to ignite the fire inside of you and light up your soul. To all of you: go out there and find something that does that for you, too!
