To those thinking that the division of this country would better their lives and bring developments. I want you to know that for a state to be developed, the people in authority, the governor, the Law makers, the LGA Chairmen etc. Would have to have their mindset set on the development of the state. We have people whose priority is to get all they can get while they can get it in the office. They dont care if you die on that bad road as long as they can fly with their private jets. Even when they plie on that same bad roads...they force you to stop, park or even go out of the road so that they would use the good sides of the road. We dont have leaders whose priority is the peoples welfare, we dont have leaders whose purpose is to put smiles on the faces of the people. Most of lack vision, some do have the vision but are unable to take the step because they are scared of someone up there - talk of godfatherism. And this is a Nationwide problem, the Christian governors, the Muslim governors are the same....they have the same problem. There is no where in Nigeria where a Muslim governor is better than a Christian governor so the problem here is not the Religion. They (the leaders) just deceive the masses by implanting the Religion and Tribalism stuff in our heads, a ploy with which they have used to divert the peoples attension from what is to whats not. We like comparing Nigeria to United States Of America right? Then ask yourself if all the 50 states are of one Religion and Tribe. Yet they are years and decades ahead of us...i know you would say they are older but the truth is; Rome was not built in one day. They had a good foundation, they had a vision and one goal to get...now where are they? They are the world power. Therefore, the disintegration of Nigeria will not change the corruption and greed in the hearts of our political leaders....infact, it would be an avenue for them to loot more.
